ARCO Design/Build Wilmiington recently welcomed Matt Falvey as director.

"With a distinguished background in the United States Army’s 82d Airborne Division, Matt brings over 30 years of leadership experience in business development and strategic growth to our Wilmington office," the firm's officials stated in a news release. "His local expertise, combined with ARCO’s national reach, will play a pivotal role in expanding the Wilmington market, specializing in providing multi-family,  industrial distribution and cold storage design-build solutions."

His track record includes work in both the military and business sectors.

The Wilmington team will initially include five to six people, including Falvey, two company vice presidents, a design-build manager and an engineer, according to a previous Greater Wilmington Business Journal article. Falvey said he expects the Wilmington staff to grow with the number of local projects.

ARCO Design/Build was founded more than 30 years ago in St. Louis. Today, the company has 42 offices nationwide and more than 2,000 employees.
