SBA names new procurement center rep for N.C.

The U.S. Small Business Administration has assigned Jeffrey D. Hale as Procurement Center Representative (PCR), Size Specialist and Commercial Market Representative (CMR) for SBA's Area III Office of Government Contracting.
“We look forward to Jeff being an advocate for the many small businesses in N.C.,” said Mitch Morand, area director, SBA Government Contracting Area III Office. “Jeff has the experience as a contracting officer and his vast experience in the acquisition field is an excellent fit for his role as a PCR advocating and helping small business. He is a welcomed addition to SBA.”
As the PCR, Jeff will be responsible for covering the following North Carolina agencies: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Wilmington, N.C.; DHHS, National Institute Environmental Health, EPA-RTP, N.C.; Fort Bragg-Fayetteville, N.C., U.S. Army Research Office-RTP, NC; Pope AFB-Fayetteville, NC.; Seymour Johnson AFB-Goldsboro, N.C.; and MCB Camp Lejeune-Jacksonville, N.C.
Prior to joining SBA, Hale was a Supervisory Contracting Officer at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conversation Service in Raleigh, N.C. He is a Level III Certified warranted Contracting Officer with a $5 million warrant.
