Furniture store to open new outlet in Wilmington

An Ashley Furniture Outlet is planning to open a furniture store in the Port City.

Development continues on the site, the former Tysinger Furniture Store at 6508 Market Street that closed earlier this year, as crews work inside of the more than 5,000 square foot structure and complete upgrades to the building’s façade.

Wilmington store officials hope to have a grand opening in the coming months. 

While Ashley Furniture Outlets receive their furniture from Ashley distribution centers, the retailer acts independently of the national, Wisconsin-based chain.
