Carol Averitte has been awarded the Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager designation, according to a news release.

Averitte, managing broker with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage, "joins an elite group of real estate professionals from around the world who have earned the CRB designation," officials said in the release.

She joined Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage in June 2014 as the managing broker of the company’s Southport and Oak Island offices, officials said.

The Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) designation is conferred by the Real Estate Business Institute and is an official designation of the National Association of Realtors, stated the release. Those who earn the designation are required to complete a comprehensive program combining experience with management education.

“We are so proud of Carol. This is an awesome achievement and represents a tremendous amount of hard work and commitment. Carol strives to be the best she can be and always goes the extra mile to serve her agents,” said Denise Kinney, senior vice president and general manager of Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage, in the release.

Averitte started her real estate career more than 30 years ago in residential property management. She has since been involved in residential real estate sales, owned her own property management company, and been a partner in a residential real estate sales firm, stated the release.
