Two People Certified As Community Manager

By Christina Haley O'Neal, posted Jun 8, 2021
Two local community managers with Community Association Management Services (CAMS) have earned certifications.

Bill Figas and Cyndi Perry have been named Certified Managers of Community Associations (CMCAs) by the Community Association Managers International Certification Board (CAMICB), according to a news release.

“To achieve this certification, candidates must pass the CMCA examination, a rigorous test that measures knowledge of community management best practices,” stated the release.

Figas and Perry join more than 20,000 CMCAs worldwide who have demonstrated the skills for managing homeowners and condominium associations, officials said.

“CAMS has a set of core values to which everyone in our organization strongly adheres and one of these is ‘we are here to learn and grow’,” said CAMS President Dave Orr in the release. “Our team members' efforts to continually pursue educational opportunities and grow professionally is a shining example of this core value in action and we couldn't be prouder of their achievements.”
