Genesis Block Adds Community Manager, Social Media Manager

Genesis Block, which provides business development services to more than 50 companies in the Wilmington area and also operates a coworking space and event venue, recently announced the addition of two team members to support the growth of the company. 

Arhema Tilman, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, was hired as community manager at Genesis Block. Her responsibilities include membership and entrepreneur community management, corporate partnership management, event coordination and community engagement.

Tilman has served as a digital marketing consultant for local small business owners and nonprofit organizations.

Ryan Brown (shown at right) was hired as social media manager at Genesis Block. Brown's responsibilities include managing social media platforms, building digital marketing strategies and growing the online entrepreneurial community.

Brown is a student at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, majoring in marketing strategy with a minor in digital arts.

Brown is also the president of Pi Sigma Epsilon, the marketing and sales fraternity at the Cameron Business School.
