Cranfill Sumner LLP recently announced that Alaina Burgess joined the firm as a paralegal based in its Wilmington office.
She supports attorney Jason R. Harris in the firm’s Admiralty and Maritime Law Practice Group.
Burgess has more than 26 years of experience as a paralegal in civil litigation. She has extensive trial experience and enjoys working closely with clients throughout the litigation progress, according to a news release.
She previously served as an instructor at the certified paralegal program at the University of North Alabama, where she taught courses such as “Introduction to the American Legal System and Paralegal Studies” and “Judgment, Legal Analysis, and Ethics.” She organized and hosted the first annual General Law, Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminar at the University of North Alabama.
Burgess graduated summa cum laude from Faulkner University with an associate's degree in paralegal studies.
