Primis Mortgage has promoted both Ritchie Love and Robert O’Bday to Southeast Division Leaders, overseeing operations in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina Georgia and Florida, according to a news release

The promotions signify efforts "to strengthen their influence and meet aggressive growth goals," the release stated

"Love and O’Bday have been a dynamic team for over a decade, and have been serving as Regional Market Leaders for the Carolinas with Primis Mortgage since they joined the team in July 2021. Prior to that, they both held upper management positions with other large regional lenders," according to the release. "Together, they have almost 60 years of industry experience, earning outstanding reputations for their widespread success."

John Owens, CEO of Primis, stated in the release that Love and O'Bday (pictured at right) are "two of the most hard-working, tenacious individuals in the mortgage business today. I’ve known both of them for over 20 years, and am fully confident we have the right two guys to make a huge impact in the Southeast."

Love will head the recruiting and sales aspect of their division, according to the release, working with loan officers, agents and builders directly.

O’Bday will continue to lead their personnel by coaching mortgage loan officers "to be their best and to be trusted experts in the field."
