A recent Wilmington International Airport announcement highlighted an employee's new trade association role.
Erin McNally, marketing, air service development and public relations manager at ILM, was elected to the Airports Council International-North America (ACI-NA) Air Service Steering Group, serving a four-year term, according to a news release.
The steering group focuses on issues related to the development, maintenance and retention of air service to airports, the release stated.
"The ACI-NA Board will depend on the steering group members to assist with various significant issues affecting airports and to provide effective policy recommendations, meetings and products," according to the release.
During her time at ILM, the airport has welcomed three new airlines – United, Avelo, and Sun Country – and expanded to serve additional nonstop routes, the release stated. McNally has been a member of the ACI-NA air service committee and is beginning the new committee leadership role this month.
