The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern North Carolina appointed Mia Green as the organization’s new chief operating officer.
"Green’s expertise will be instrumental in enhancing the impact we make on the lives of local youth," a news release stated. "We are excited to welcome Mia to our team and look forward to the continued growth of our clubs under her leadership."
Green brings a wealth of experience to her role, according to the release. She most recently served as a Guardian Ad Litem Supervisory for the North Carolina Judicial Branch advocating for children facing abuse and neglect throughout North Carolina.
As COO of the clubs, she will "play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to empower and inspire the young minds of our community," the release stated.
Dawn-Michele Blalock, CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern North Carolina, said in the release of Green, “Her proven dedication to empowering young lives and her strategic approach to leadership perfectly resonate with our mission. Her focus will be on the enhancement of Club operations, staff support, and assistance to the youth who need us most. We eagerly anticipate the positive transformations she will drive for both our organization and the youth we serve.”
