Also joining the board are Sadie Campbell, Wendy Fingerhut, Debbie Mott, and Leigh Johnson, Director of Philanthropy, Planned Parenthood South Atlantic, according to a news release.

"WIN is a collective giving circle composed of more than 100 women who pool their contributions to help support community nonprofits," the release stated.

For 2024, the grant cycle focuses on environmental projects from nonprofits that have a strong impact in the New Hanover community, according to the release. Letters of Intent are due to WIN by March 8, and grantees will be announced by May 13.

"This year’s grant pool of $60,000 is a major increase over the past several years, reflecting the growth of the organization and member support," the release stated. "Since its inception in 2011, WIN has awarded more than $530,000 in grants to 33 organizations."
