CFCC Announces Accreditation Of EMS Program

Cape Fear Community College recently announced its emergency medical services program has achieved accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

CFCC’s EMS program is the first accredited EMS program in Southeastern North Carolina, a news release stated.

"This accreditation reflects the program's commitment to excellence and ensures students receive the highest quality education and training in emergency medical sciences," according to the release. "The CAAHEP accreditation process is rigorous and involves an in-depth curriculum review, faculty qualifications, facilities and student outcomes."

The program accreditation extends until 2029, the release stated.
