Joseph Joins South Atlantic Capital Management Board

South Atlantic Capital Management recently announced that Nick Joseph has joined its board of advisors.

Joseph (pictured at right) will provide important strategic advice to the company acquired throughout his career, according to a news release.

Joseph is the owner of Cape Cottages Realty LLC, which has specialized in condominium sales since 1996. He is also the owner of Association Management of Wilmington LLC, which manages over 540 condominiums in five complexes, the release stated.

Previously he served as the sales and marketing director for Hampton Plantation, overseeing the development of a 400- acre golf community in St. Simons Island, Georgia. He also served in the same capacity for Prestwick Golf and Country Club, a 440- acre golf community in Surfside Beach, South Carolina, according to the release.

Joseph serves as a member of the board of directors for the International Circle of Friends, a benevolent organization founded by Jean and PB Dye. The ICOF provides resources for education, nutrition and health care for at-risk children in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Belize, India and Africa.

South Atlantic Capital will be discussing its investment strategy and the importance of downside protection on Nov. 7 at Cape Fear Country Club. John Slayton will also be making remarks related to significant potential changes in estate tax law coming in 2025. Slayton is the managing director of First Carolina Wealth and formerly served as General Counsel and Investment Adviser to the Gordan P. Getty Family Trust.
