Cranfill Sumner LLP recently announced that Cara Cook has joined the firm’s Wilmington office as an associate attorney.
She focuses her practice in the area of civil litigation, according to a news release.
"Cook gained litigation experience through internships at a mid-size boutique family law firm, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of N.C. and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and she served as Honors Law Clerk for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, where she worked on CERCLA and RCRA matters," the release stated.
Cook graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law, where she was a teaching assistant, the managing editor of the Wake Forest Journal of Business and Intellectual Property Law and participated in the Wake Forest Environmental Law and Policy Clinic. She graduated summa cum laude from East Carolina University.
