Innovative Financial Group Announces Partnership

By Jenny Callison, posted Feb 25, 2020
Wilmington insurance firm Innovative Financial Group announced Tuesday that it has completed a partnership agreement with Elite Insurance Group.

Elite Insurance, based in Reidsville, Georgia, is a distributor of health insurance products and specializes in the senior market. As part of this specialty, the news release stated, EIG agents work with older adult clients to help them understand their Medicare options.

EIG also places great emphasis on training its agents and helping them through marketing, lead generation and in-the-field training, the release stated. Officials with Innovative Financial Group, a provider of life and health insurance products, see synergy in the new partnership.

"EIG has created an amazing opportunity for their agents and partners," Josh Benson, Innovative Financial Group CEO, said in the release. "Our 6,000-plus agents at Innovative Financial Group will benefit from this partnership and will be trained and mentored by the best in the industry.”

Founded in 2006 by David Wilson, EIG provides “a hands-on approach where each agent gets proper field training and has regular meetings with their staff to make sure the value proposition remains unmatched,” the release stated.

Innovative Financial Group, founded in 2014 by Tyler Rees, develops life and health insurance products and distributes them through its network of independent insurance carriers, according to the release. Company officials predict that they will write more than $75 million in new life insurance premiums, $150 million in annuities and more than $25 million in Medicare and ancillary health products in 2020.

“When we decide to move in a specific direction, we gather all the knowledge, talent and resources needed for scale,” Benson said in the release. “Our partnership with EIG immediately positions us as a serious contributor in the Medicare space and we look forward to the challenge of capturing more market share while remaining intentional in our commitment to both our partners and clients."
