National Mortgage Lender Opens Wilmington Location

By Jenny Callison, posted Sep 3, 2021
Planet Home Lending LLC, with branches in 21 states, has opened its first North Carolina office at 1608 Queen St.

The branch is headed by Dawn Bailey. She is joined by mortgage loan originator Heather House and loan originator assistant Jennifer Roper.

“Planet Home Lending is a great fit for Eastern Carolina because we offer personalized service instead of a one-size-fits-all approach” company CEO and president Michael Dubeck said in an announcement.

In addition to conventional mortgage loans, Planet Home Lending offers VA and USDA financing and Jumbo loans up to $3 million.

“We also have North Carolina Housing Financial Agency down payment assistance and a mortgage credit certificate providing a federal tax rebate for applicants who meet credit and income requirements,” Bailey said in the release. “Since the area attracts retirees, vacationers and investors, the branch offers mortgages for second homes and investment property home loans for rentals, including condominiums.”
