Mickle Tapped To Head Bank's Commercial Unit

By Jenny Callison, posted Nov 5, 2021
First Bancorp, the parent company of First Bank, last month announced that it will align its business into three organizational lines: commercial banking, community banking and retail banking.

Brad Mickle, who serves as First Bank’s Wilmington regional executive, will now also head the commercial banking unit, continuing as regional executive and maintaining his office in Wilmington, officials said.

Mickle and his counterparts for the other two banking lines will report to Adam Currie, First Bank’s chief banking officer.

Southern Pines-based First Bank maintains four locations in Wilmington and one each in Leland, Southport, Ocean Isle Beach and Shallotte.
