Tru By Hilton Hotel Opens On Market St.

By Staff Reports, posted Aug 16, 2024
Officials with Hilton hotel brand Tru by Hilton recently announced the opening of one of their hotels in Wilmington.

The 107-room Tru by Hilton hotel, located at 5001-A Market St., is owned by North Carolina-based CN Hotels and managed by McKibbon Hospitality.

“We are incredibly honored to join the Tru by Hilton brand and introduce travelers to this innovative type of lodging,” said Jeromi Quincy, dual general manager, in a news release. “Our ideal location, unique set of offerings and affordable price make us a top choice for guests visiting the Wilmington area.”

The pet-friendly property is connected to Hotel Lela Wilmington, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, which is set to open later this summer, the release stated. The properties include a restaurant, Paloma’s at Lela, offering cocktails and a Latin-inspired menu, as well as access to a shared outdoor saltwater pool with cabanas and outdoor games.

Tru by Hilton Wilmington is part of Hilton Honors, a guest-loyalty program for Hilton’s 22 hotel brands.
