Heating And Cooling Business Marks Opening Of Larger Brunswick Location

By Staff Reports, posted Nov 8, 2022

Salt Air Heating & Cooling on Nov. 1 celebrated the opening of a new Brunswick County office at 8128 River Road in Southport.

“We’ve actually been in this area for 18 months now, but needed a larger facility,” said Brooke Skipper, vice president of Salt Air Inc., in a news release. “This will ensure that our clients here in Brunswick County will continue to receive a prompt response for ongoing needs and emergencies.”

The company recently added electrical service, support and repair in a response to customer demand. “We may need to consider modifying our name,” Skipper stated in the release, “because we also provide duct cleaning services, install whole home generators and ductless mini-splits.”

According to the release, part of the reason for adding electrical services as an option was that some modern heating and air conditioning systems require an electrical upgrade to function properly. Some older homes do not have the service and/or dedicated circuit that is required for most modern systems.

Skipper stated in the release, “Our strategy for growth and success may appear somewhat simplistic on the surface. Basically, we have just focused on listening carefully to what our customers want and need, and then made an effort to accommodate those requests as effectively as possible.”

One aspect of this strategy has been to create a Home Comfort Club in which members receive two inspections per year, coupons, discounts and priority service, according to the release.

Additionally, Salt Air services and sells whole-home air cleaners and UV light systems. Other services include financing options and dryer vent cleaning.
