SpeedPro, a Denver-headquartered printing and visual solutions franchise, has launched a location in the Wilmington area.
SpeedPro Cape Fear has opened at 5740 Park Ave., Unit A, near the Seagate area, according to a press release. The firm offers vehicle wraps, custom signage, murals, trade show displays, window graphics and other large-format printing services, the release states.
Co-owned by Matt Sullivan and his father, Dan Sullivan, who serves as a strategic advisor, the firm aims to be a branding and graphics partner, rather than solely a print production provider. While owned by the Sullivans, the firm will have access to SpeedPro's production model and brand infrastructure.
“Our tagline is basically that we want to help our customers find their next customer by telling their brand story visually,” Matt Sullivan said. “We want to be graphics and branding partners with our businesses, helping their businesses grow and thrive.”
Matt Sullivan has lived in the Wilmington area since 2002 and spent around a decade working for Raleigh-based TBM Consulting Group. After extensive travel across the country, he was motivated to build deeper ties to the Wilmington market and decided to pursue the SpeedPro franchise in April, he said.
“We aren’t just ‘sign guys,’” Matt Sullivan said in the release. “We are graphics and branding specialists helping client partners to tell their brand story visually.”
Founded in 1992 in Canada, SpeedPro operates around 130 franchise locations across the United States – including several across Raleigh, Charlotte and Greensboro – and specializes in large-format printing.
Its network serves organizations across sectors including advertising and marketing, retail, healthcare, restaurants, education, museums, galleries, and event venues.
The local franchise plans to work on projects that range from individual signs to graphics for broader visual branding programs, according to the release.
As a large-format printer, SpeedPro can supply graphics for storefronts, offices, fleets, events or other environments requiring consistent physical branding, the release said.
“Ultimately, we’re talking about the small businesses that pop up with general growth in the area," Sullivan said. "How can we help those companies and employees grow to double in size?”
While SpeedPro Cape Fear's market extends through Jacksonville, Wallace and to Myrtle Beach, Sullivan said the firm is focused on Wilmington.
