A Wilmington-based commercial real estate firm recently brokered the $28 million sale of an industrial property in Benson.

The 17-acre property at 2028 Woodall Dairy Road holds a 327,000-square-foot building and has been occupied by global equipment manufacturer John Deere since 2000.

The sale was brokered by Cape Fear Commercial's Hank Miller and Paul Loukas, according to a news release. Miller and Loukas both represented the sellers, MT96 Crosspoint LLC and AHG Crosspoint LLC.

The buyer was New York-based investment firm Bluerock.

Loukas said in a release, “Industrial remains the most sought-after investment product. With demand outpacing supply and cap rates holding historically low, this deal drew strong interest.”
