Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage, a residential real estate firm headquartered in Wilmington, recently opened a new office in Brunswick County.

The new office, at 1011 Zion Hill Road in Bolivia, off N.C. 211 at the entrance to Winding River, replaces the office formerly on Long Beach Road in Southport, according to a news release. Winding River is a more than 1,000-acre community where development began in 1997, the Winding River HOA website states.

The central location is one of the major reasons company officials picked Bolivia, giving agents a place to serve buyers and sellers in the surrounding, growing markets, said Denise Kinney, president of Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage, in the release.

"Situated between the natural beauty of Boiling Spring Lakes, the maritime community of Southport, the golf courses of St. James Plantation and the Brunswick County beaches, the new location will allow our agents to serve multiple areas and respond to client needs quickly and efficiently," the release stated.

Kimberly Sands, managing broker, stated in the release, “The team of contractors and designers did an incredible job with the renovations and created an amazing space with a relaxed coastal style. The vibe is casual and comfortable and is so welcoming for our clients, plus there’s lots of space to foster agent engagement and the sharing of ideas.”

A grand opening for the new office was held Aug. 24 with a ribbon-cutting and luncheon.
