Two local marketing agencies have joined forces. Wilmington’s CAP3, a small business accounting and marketing firm, and Proclaim Interactive, a Carolina Beach based digital marketing agency have merged.

Officials with the companies said that the collaboration would allow clients to have more extensive marketing resources readily available to help grow their businesses.

“We are building something incredible here at CAP3. This is the perfect marriage between two world class teams of professionals that share an intense desire to ‘Make it Better’ for businesses all over the world,” said Adam Tartt, CEO of CAP3, which was founded in 2011.

Spence Hackney, president and CEO of Proclaim Interactive, said that as he knew as his time to step down from leading Proclaim, his primary concern was to ensure a good outcome for his staff, clients, vendors and community.

“The merger with CAP3 perfectly accomplishes this in more ways than I could have dreamed,” he said. “I couldn't be more grateful to Adam and his team for welcoming Proclaim into their family."

The merger brings Proclaim Interactive’s local, award-winning reputation to join with CAP3’s goal to grow in the local and national marketplace. Proclaim Interactive, a website design and marketing firm, was founded in 1999.

“I am excited to welcome Proclaim Interactive to the CAP3 family,” said Matthew Coleman, CAP3’s chief marketing officer. “This merger brings together two high-performing teams, creating opportunities for continued growth and success, both internally and for those we serve.”
