United Way of the Cape Fear Area (UWCFA) has added two new members to its team.

Susan Upchurch, senior campaign associate, and Kea Glazier, campaign associate, recently joined the United Way team and will be managing corporate campaigns throughout the Cape Fear community, according to a news release.

Upchurch has worked with United Way of Greensboro in Raleigh and the state United Way of North Carolina. She has extensive fundraising experience with the Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC, UNC Hospitals/Wake Med/Coral Blood Services and private businesses.

Her role as senior campaign associate will be to work with local businesses and corporations to host annual workplace campaigns that will raise money in support of local nonprofit health and human service programs and agencies in the Cape Fear area.

Glazier (right) is an expert in social media marketing, photography and cinematography. She has a bachelor’s degree in business management from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.

As campaign associate at UWCFA, Glazier will also work with local businesses and corporations in support of workplace giving campaigns while also supporting nonprofit partners in the Cape Fear area, officials said. She will manage the UWCFA website and will work with all community volunteers.

United Way of the Cape Fear Area mobilizes resources to employ local people working toward leading self-sufficient, healthy lives.
