Residential real estate firm Nest Realty Wilmington is opening an office in Hampstead.

The company, which has nearly 60 agents, has two other offices in the Wilmington area, one at Mayfaire Town Center, 990 Inspiration Drive, and one at 112 Cape Fear Blvd. in Carolina Beach.

The Hampstead office will be about 1,500 square feet on the second floor of the April Jones Insurance office building at 15 South End Court in Hampstead Village.

The office building is under construction and expected to be complete by September.

“It’s just such a growing market,” said Ryan Crecelius, principal broker at Nest Realty Wilmington, of why the company decided on Hampstead for a third location. “We have a lot of interest from a lot of agents that are up there but geographically they needed a place to land that was closer to their house.”

Nest Realty Wilmington, founded in August 2014, is expected to have 12 to 15 agents in the Hampstead office, Crecelius said.

The southern Pender County community of Hampstead is “one of the few places that can grow as far as spaces for new construction. I think there’s a lot of commercial building opportunities. It seems like just a progression of our area, of Greater Wilmington,” Crecelius said.

The Hampstead location is a second office for April Jones Insurance, which is leasing the space to Nest Realty Wilmington.
