New stores have been welcoming customers at Independence Mall in Wilmington, where a redevelopment project replaced the former Sears and Sears wing. The project added exterior-facing establishments that include a Lidl grocery store (one of two in the city), Five Below, Dick’s Sporting Goods and more retailers and restaurants that are on the way.
