Wilmington International Airport is in the middle of a $61 million, multiyear terminal expansion project – an undertaking that started before COVID-19 impacted the airline industry last year and that's slated to wrap up at the end of next year.
According to a recent Greater Wilmington Business Journal cover story, the terminal expansion and renovation, the largest project in ILM’s history, and other developments coming down the pipeline are expected to bring more offerings to ILM.
For this week's WilmingtonBiz Talk, Granseur Dick, ILM’s facilities director, shared an update on the terminal project, other projects the airport hopes to see in the future and the latest on where passenger levels stand as travelers return to the skies.
