WilmingtonBiz Talk: Arts Community Ramps Up Activities

By Vicky Janowski, posted May 13, 2021
The Wilmington Arts Summit takes place next week with a focus on arts venues that are reopening or opening for the first time with new projects – all against the backdrop of easing COVID-related restrictions and with safety in mind.

Joining us for this week's WilmingtonBiz Talk to preview the summit was Rhonda Bellamy, executive director for The Arts Council of Wilmington/New Hanover County. She shared updates on some of those reopening venues and galleries, the return of Fourth Friday Gallery Walk later this month, progress on the Wilmington Rail Trail project and more.

View the full conversation below. Also listen to this and future weekly WilmingtonBiz Talk discussions on the Business Journal's new podcast, available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Stitcher.

BizTalk is livestreamed on the Business Journal's Facebook page each week at noon Thursday. For notifications on upcoming topics, sign up for newsletters at wilmingtonbiz.com/register and to submit topic or speaker ideas, email [email protected].
