Leah is attending school to obtain her doctorate in nursing practice-family nurse practitioner at UNCW.
After losing her father three weeks after his diagnosis of colon cancer during her senior year of high school, she realized the difference it took to truly be a great nurse: someone who is willing, impartial and caring.
