David Rizzo serves as First Carolina Bank’s Wilmington Market President and opened the local office in 2017. His 25 years of banking experience include 20 in Wilmington. During his First Carolina tenure, the Bank has grown from three North Carolina offices to nine offices across both Carolinas, Virginia, and Georgia and over $3.1 billion in assets. Following First Carolina’s acquisition of BM Technologies, Inc. in January 2025, David was also named Higher Education Sales Executive, leading such efforts throughout the Bank’s footprint and beyond. Outside of the office, David can be found on the golf course with his son.
