Raleigh-based LM Restaurants announced last week the results of its October fundraising initiative benefiting the American Cancer Society during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The monthlong campaign took place at across seven LM Restaurant locations, including Oceanic, Bluewater Waterfront Grill, Hops Supply Co., Henry’s Restaurant and Bar and Carolina Ale House in Wilmington.

The grand total to be presented to the American Cancer Society was $13,050.

The donation fund consisted of $1 per Pink Ribbon Martini sold at each participating location, in addition to a direct donation from Tito’s Handmade Vodka.

“LM Restaurants and our employees are committed to supporting a number of philanthropic areas, one which is important to us is cancer research,” said Amber Moshakos, president of LM Restaurants. “We are thrilled to be able to help the American Cancer Society further their mission in providing lifesaving research, treatment and care for those fighting cancer.”

LM Restaurants is a hospitality management company for eight brands and 26 restaurants in the Southeast. In addition to Wilmington locations, LM operates Oceanic at the Pompano Beach Pier, as well as Taverna Agora and Vidrio in Raleigh.

LMR’s flagship brand is Carolina Ale House with 29 locations. Two new brands are in development for 2019 in the South Florida market, Lucky Fish Beach Bar & Grill, in Pompano Beach, and Morea, in Ft. Lauderdale. Both are scheduled to open 2020.
