Casselberry Hired As Safety Director At Thomas Construction

Thomas Construction Group officials recently announced they hired Kristen Casselberry as safety director. 

In her new role, Casselberry will oversee Thomas’ safety program to ensure a safe, healthy, accident-free work environment and that the firm complies with all applicable federal, state, county, and local safety-related regulations, according to a news release.

She joins Thomas with over 12 years of experience developing and implementing safety programs focused on loss control, risk mitigation and regulatory compliance, the release stated.

According to the release, Casselberry “has a proven track record of strong leadership and management skills, which are critical to training and educating employees on safety processes and policies.”

Originally from Pennsylvania, Kristen graduated from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Science in Safety Management. Kristen and her husband have been in Wilmington for four years and enjoy going to the beach, the movie theater, the arcade and taking long walks. She is also a foster for a local rescue, Rescue Connect.  

Thomas Construction Group is a multifaceted general contractor specializing in early design phase construction management across various sectors and comprehensive Construction Management at Risk and design-build services, according to the release. The company is licensed across multiple states, including North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
