Ward And Smith Adds Two Attorneys To Wilmington Office

Law firm Ward and Smith has added Mary Charles Amerson and Jeff Stoddard to its Wilmington office. 

According to a news release, Amerson (pictured at left) is a family law attorney who has experience representing individuals and families across various legal matters, including divorce, alimony and spousal support, child custody disputes, marital property distribution, separation agreements and prenuptial agreements. 

Devon Williams, Ward and Smith's co-managing director, stated in the release that Amerson's "passion for serving individuals and families through challenging times and her ability to navigate complex legal situations will be invaluable to our clients in Wilmington and beyond."

Stoddard (pictured at right) has a background in representing and advising various stakeholders within the construction industry, including contractors, subcontractors, owners, lenders and design professionals.

"He excels in civil litigation, contract negotiation, and developing customized best practices for construction companies," the release stated. 

Apart from his focus on construction litigation, Stoddard has more than a decade of experience representing physicians, nurses and other licensed professionals in litigation and licensing matters.
