The Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association (WCFHBA) recently announced a leadership transition for existing staff member Hope Taylor and the addition of Margaret Stanley to the team in a new position focused on membership engagement and retention, according to a news release.

Taylor, who joined WCFHBA in December 2023 as cirector of business development, has transitioned into the newly created role of director of communications and strategy, the release stated.

"In this position, Taylor will lead the development and execution of the association's communications channels and strategic messaging efforts," according to the release. "Taylor’s responsibilities will include advancing the association's programs, services and industry impact through digital communications, multimedia content, educational programming, workforce development and scholarship initiatives, partnership campaigns, sponsorship sourcing and management and overall brand positioning. The role is designed to further elevate the association's visibility while strengthening member value and industry awareness."

With Taylor's transition, WCFHBA created a new position – director of membership services, and appointed Stanley to the position.

"This role is responsible for managing and enhancing membership programs and services, developing strategies to increase enrollment, retaining existing members and improving overall member satisfaction," the release stated. "The role works collaboratively with association leadership and departments to ensure membership initiatives align with organizational goals and provide a seamless experience for all members."

Cameron Moore, executive officer of WCFHBA, said in the release, "As our membership and programs continue to grow, expanding our staff capacity allows us to provide a higher level of service, strengthen member engagement, and position the association for long-term success."

The Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association (WCFHBA) is a trade association representing more than 1,850 member firms.
