Patrick Mincey is a trial lawyer in Wilmington, N.C., where he founded the criminal defense group at Cranfill Sumner & Hartzog LLP. His criminal practice ranges from representing individuals and corporate clients who are targets, subjects or witnesses in federal and state white collar proceedings to “blue collar” defendants charged with murder, drug conspiracies and assaults.

Mincey’s white collar criminal practice focuses on litigation, special investigations and regulatory enforcement of both individuals and corporations. He assists clients under investigation by federal agencies first to avoid indictment or to reach alternate resolutions, as well as defending clients through trial. In state courts, he defends clients facing a range of issues, from the death penalty to DWI.
